There is nothing like being on the water. You can’t help but relax on a yacht, and enjoy the Bay from a perspective that is rare and exceptional. I never tire of seeing the Golden Gate Bridge. As we cruise, I’m impressed with a sense of awe, of this beautiful structure. It’s always fun to see Alcatraz, the San Francisco city and skyline, the Bay Bridge; and spectacular parts of Tiburon and the Bay Area that I’ve never seen before. We were escorted near the Golden Gate by seals, and enjoyed watching the competitive and colorful sail boarders racing by, catching our wake.

The Empress Yacht itself is beautiful. Parking at Sausalito Marina is easy and free. We were invited on a music cruise with light hors d’oeuvres and a day on the Bay. Captain Gerry met us on the dock and upon boarding, the staff greeted us with the first of never ending trays of passed hors d’oeuvres. We spent the next four hours exploring everything there is to see, taste, do and enjoy both indoors and outside, upstairs and downstairs, and even took a peek up in the Captains wheelhouse. There is a beautiful bar on board downstairs, and upstairs is a full dance floor. We enjoyed a live band, dancing, and the company of great people. The “light” hors d’oeuvres were delish and ample enough for dinner. The large, spicy shrimp were a favorite at our table, along with the chicken satay. My husband loved the empanadas. The Empress crew prides themselves on preparing and presenting a high quality menu. I might add, the Empress Yacht has a well equipped kitchen and full time chef.

I can see helping our clients plan events on the Empress Yacht, such as fundraisers, friend-raisers, casino nights, business luncheons, meetings, engagements, birthday parties, classes & workshops, and other creative uses. It’s absolutely perfect for weddings, receptions, dinners, brunch parties, graduations, anniversary parties, and all kinds of social and business events. Thinking ahead, you might also want to charter this for Valentines Day, July 4th (fireworks over the Bay), Christmas, New Years Eve, or other holidays.
